Chinese Music, Pt. 1

I've a peculiar addiction with Chinese music so I thought I'll share a random collection of some of my favourite songs, in no particular order. Strangely enough I seem to always fall for the sad love songs about lost loves, tears and other heartaches. I'll try not to post only depressing songs. ;-) I'm not posting the Chinese / Pinyin lyrics along with the songs but if you're interested, let me know and I'll try to find them for you...alternatively Google is your friend. Haha!

Jacky Cheung (张学友)
Yan Lei (眼泪 - English: Tears) *Live Version*

Jacky Cheung (张学友)
Lan Yu (蓝雨 English: Blue Rain) *Mandarin Album Version*

Wang Leehom (王力宏)
Ni Bu Zhi Dao De Shi (你不知道的事 English: What You Don't Know)

This is the theme song of "Love In Disguise" (恋爱通告 / Liàn ài Tōng Gào) - an all around, somewhat cheesy feel good movie which was directed by Wang Leehom himself. It's funny, it's sweet and it's just the right kinda movie for a rainy afternoon, an evening on the couch or simply a treat.

Wang Leehom (王力宏)
Bu Yao Hai Pa (不要害怕 English: Don't Be Afraid)

  Jay Chou (周杰伦)
Jian Dan Ai (簡單愛 English: Simple Love)

I'll leave it at five songs for today, but I'll put some more together as I go along. I have millions of ideas for things I'd like to blog about but I'm struggling finding the time to do so and when I do it's never really what I'd actually planned to talk about. Yes, I'm strange!
If you've any suggestions for songs you'd like me to check out, go right ahead. Maybe something less sappy? Haha! Judging by my song choices when it comes to Chinese Music one would never suspect that I frequently listen to rock music - the more guitar riffs the better... :-)
