I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival, if you're celebrating I hope you are with your family and/or friends, share loads of laughter, good food and a few mooncakes. If you like them, that is. I had my mooncake already. A student gave it to me and it was filled with marzipan and nuts, surprisingly yummy and just the right amount of sweet. I meant to take a picture for you all but I kind of indulged in said mooncake before I could savour it for you, sorry.
Here are two random but yummy looking mooncakes for you. Out of curiosity, what's your favourite mooncake filling? I think I would like to try some savoury ones but I'm not a fan of having egg of any sort in my mooncake. Also one mooncake a year is enough.
